That was sad to read yet I smile with the thoughts that you are there for others and to help those that are in need. I ask that you take care of yourself also as without you being well, you can not help others. I agree that one should not stress about the little things and try to live, live life for yourself and for those that can not. Imagine how much better the world would be if everyone volunteered to help one another. Thank you for your post Annielis and Hugs to You!

I didn't know until I read this post that you're a doctor. I am an RN in the MICU in a very large hospital. I have often sat with a patient of mine while they were passing. I didn't want to be alone. The rest of the nurses looked over my other patient making sure they were safe. I've talked to patients when they ask me questions or when their family did. To me this is the most rewarding part of my job. I totally agree with what you said. We have two lives, and the second begins when we realise we have only one - Confucious
